Take straps of black licorice and wrap them around pillows of blackberry, saltbush, bitumen and ripe plum flavour. That’s what this wine tastes like: bold, black, forthright and full-bodied. There’s a pull of tannin through the finish and ample flavour running throughout. Satisfying, it certainly is. 92 points.
