$90, 14.5% alcohol, cork, Barossa Valley.

This red wine melts in your mouth. It’s soft and rich but it also has that something extra. It tastes of blackcurrant, redcurrant, coffee, violets, sweet spice and chocolate, with salted caramel notes for afters. It’s also blessed with ultra fine-grained tannin, and a suede-leather aspect. In short, everything here is both positive and impressive. 94 points.
