This is a fresh take on Coonawarra cabernet. It tastes of boysenberry, redcurrant and bunches of mint, with leaf matter and undergrowth notes humming harmlessly in the background. Tannin has a touch more grip than the weight of fruit can handle, which affects the balance of the finish. But serve this with food and it will work for both its refreshment and flavour.
