I like the oak on this wine. As in, you can feel and taste the oak but it’s at one with the fruit, and in some ways you need to go looking for it. That’s how/when you know that oak has been expertly managed, and applied, and judged. This wine is driven by red berried fruits with subtle notes of cola, leather, fragrant herbs, florals and earth. It’s a lively wine, refreshing too, but it doesn’t lack depth. It’s an elegant wine, and its quality is excellent. 94 points.
