This is a firm red with savouriness pushing equally as hard as pure fruit flavour. It tastes of chicory and balsamic, pencils and leather, currants and boysenberries, with herbal notes both well measured and never too far away. This wine is ripe but not sweet; it’s dry all the way along. 89 points.
