$30, 13.5% alcohol, cork, Bordeaux/France.

Pencils and chocolate, blackcurrant and sage. This is a medium-weight red wine at most, but its flavour profile is all of solid, authentic and delicious, and the finish is sound. I have no hesitation in recommending this. It’s a decent, well formed, well flavoured Bordeaux red at a decent, well-considered asking price. 90 points.
