This wine spends time on lees and in (old, neutral) wood.

It’s in a beautiful place. Classic Grampians Riesling flavours of lime jelly, grass, ginger and apple are served with lemongrass highlights and a general, attractive softness. It’s not taxing; it lets you settle in and enjoy its myriad wonder. There’s a slate-like aspect to the finish, and tonic water notes there too. It all feels both balanced and distinctive. There’s lots of fruit here but, unusual for riesling, there’s savouriness aplenty too. Very good release.
