Full-bodied and full-throttle shiraz out of McLaren Vale. Saturated plum, vanilla cream, saltbush, rust, peppercorn and bitumen characters explode through the palates and out through the finish. It’s gutsy, warm and svelte all at once. Firm, velvety tannin completes a smooth-but-robust picture. 93 points.
