Big-armed fruit flavour, bold vanilla oak, firm tannin and a general impression that you have a sizeable and substantial wine on your hands. This wine is still building, still coming together, but it sure has plenty of stuffing. Blackberry, ripe plum, coconut-cream and vanilla characters come lifted with mint and sweet sawdust. Be patient, there’s more to come. 93 points.
