$30, 14% alcohol, cork, Argentina.

The appeal and the effect of this wine is based on ripe, solid, well-formed fruit flavour, though the inclusion of chocolate and Black Forest cake-like characters ramps the appeal higher. This is a dry, savoury-accented wine of medium weight but it comes with extras and it comes with charm. It’s easy to be a fan. It drinks very well. 91 points.
