Iggy Springton Syrah 2022

Bottle of Iggy Springton Syrah 2022.

Iggy Springton Syrah 2022
$75, 14.5% alcohol, DIAM cork, Eden Valley.

This is an immaculate syrah with fresh, ripe, berried fruit flavours flowing generously throughout but with ample spice and floral notes adding breadth. The glory of the Eden Valley is on full display here. Tannin, fine-grained, curls through the back half of the wine, soy notes add an extra layer of interest, and smoky oak adds a finishing touch. This is a wine of a top producer. 94 points.
