This is a highly savoury, smoky, meaty expression of Cabernet Sauvignon with sweet-smoked tobacco notes running through charred blackcurant and peppercorn. The nose shows pure fruit expression but the palate is alive with myriad savoury inputs. Dry tannin also sits prominent in this wine. There’s plenty to enjoy about this wine but there are also aspects that will polarise. 90 points.
