This is a full-throttle shiraz with blackberry jam, plum sauce, sweet spice, toast and chocolate notes charging through the palate. It’s rich, boisterous, super ripe and thick with warm fruit flavour. It’s also delicious, in the most dark-hearted of ways, though violet-like top notes do their best to add a prettiness. If you like big shiraz, you will certainly enjoy this. 92 points.
