Freemark Abbey Cabernet Sauvignon 2021

What a beautiful wine. Soo cool, so balanced. Dried herbs, cloves, blackcurrant, just enough cream to generate the silk. Form but with flavour running through it. Elite tannin to be honest. A rolling parade. I’m not here to stereotype but this is the kind of wine that’s likely to go slightly under-appreciated in its own country, courtesy of its cool elegance. Maybe I’m wrong. In any case, for me, it’s a banger.
