Bekkers Tome 2023

Bottle of Bekkers Tome 2023.

Bekkers Tome 2023
AU$55, 13% alcohol, screwcap, McLaren Vale.

Volume 3. A blend of Cabernet Sauvignon (55%), cabernet franc (23%), and shiraz (22%).

This is savoury, fluid and beautiful. It rests its heart on sweet, ripe, boysenberry and redcurrant flavours and then builds a world of herb, leaf matter, peanut shell and cocoa-like notes around them. Tannin is fine, the vibe is fresh and flowing, and while complexity is high there’s also a keen drinkability. It’s lovely. It would be a great accompaniment to a meal.
