Riposte The Katana Chardonnay 2025
AU$29, 13% alcohol, screwcap, Adelaide Hills.

This is a good “go-to” chardonnay. It delivers a good volume of flavour, it has a velvety aspect to its mouthfeel, there are hints of sweet oak and even butter-like flavour, and it pusles pleasingly through the finish. Everything here is in good order, and it’s satisfying.
