$40, 13.1% alcohol, screwcap, Upper Goulburn.

This is a sophisticated and sure-footed chardonnay with excellent length and overall complexity. It tastes of nuts, grilled peach, sweet cedar and apricot kernels, with flint and mineral notes as highlights. There’s texture to this wine too but it’s not over the top; it’s just enough to give the wine a complex creaminess. This wine is excellent now but I wouldn’t be surprised if it scores even high with a little more bottle age. 93+ points.
