This is both compelling and characterful. One sip and it makes you sit up and take notice. It’s minorly flinty, and smoky, with grilled peach, mint, burnt cream and apple flavours charging through, and a green pineapple note to the acidity. In fact the acidity here is searing, though the boldness of the fruit works perfectly as a counterpoint. Don’t drink this prior to 2027, if not further out; it needs the extra time. 94 points.
