Henschke The Nurturer 2024
$40, 12.5% alcohol, screwcap, Eden Valley.

Named after Australian wine legend Prue Henschke and made with a blend of: 22% carignan, 19% counoise, 17% grenache gris, 15% grenache noir, 11% clairette, 9% cinsault, 7% shiraz.

This is a delicious lighter-bodied red wine. It’s a wine that you just want to settle in with and guzzle (responsibly). It’s characterised by red fruits, perfumed aromatics and silky tannin, and while it has an underlying savouriness its light, bright, fragrant persona is what really draws you in. In short, it’s a beautiful drink. 91 points.
