This is a good wine, and excellent value. It’s curranty and earthen and generous; it balloons with flavour as soon as you take a sip, and these flavours keep running juicily all the way along the length of the palate. There’s a red jelly bean character here too – always delicious – which comes safely wrapped in dried tobacco-like notes. This is an easy wine to recommend. 90 points.
