There’s excellent fruit concentration on display here, enough complexity to carry it, and beautiful svelte texture throughout. This is a balanced, elongated, well structured Barossa shiraz – it’s neat as a pin – but it’s also seductive. One sip and you can feel your whole body relaxing into its folds. It tastes of blackberry, ripe plums, roasted nuts and saltbush, with a modest/subtle run of coffeed, milk-chocolate oak as well. This is high quality gear from start to finish. 94 points.
