This is a rich, ripe red wine with blackberry, asphalt, stressed herb, redcurrant and saltbush characters filling the mouth with abundant flavour. It pushes ripeness to the edge, and comes with some alcohol warmth as a result, but the boom of flavour here is both significant and impressive. 92 points.
