I wasn’t sure how much time I’d have to take notes and so I simply wrote: “Lovely wine, lovely texture, lovely finish”. I then added the words: “Restrained, pebbly palate. Pez notes. Texture, smoke, cedar, vanilla, cooked apple and mineral. As with the sparkling chenin, ultra characterful.” That sums it up.
