This is a light, refreshing red with earth, red cherry, leather and sweet spice flavours running throughout. It’s the kind of red that you could chill in the warmer months, simply because it’s mouthwatering and low in tannin; you’d almost say that it has a crispness, in the same way that a fresh red just-ripe cherry does. What this wine lacks in flavour it makes up for in charm. 90 points.
