Blackberries, violets, mints, roasted plums and chocolate flavours come infused with vanilla, woodsmoke and cedar. The effect is imposing, impressive and seductive at once. There’s a fineness to the tannin, a fine but effective etch, which gives the wine shape but also serves to highlight the richness of flavour on offer. 94 points.
