Curtis Family Vineyards Cavaliere GSM 2021
$70, 14% alcohol, DIAM cork, McLaren Vale.

This is where rich fruit flavour hits the road. It’s blessed with the brightness of sweet raspberry and the dark depths of roasted plum, asphalt and saltbush flavour, and it’s also wrapped up and made smooth by integrated creamy oak. It’s not a shrinking violet but it’s not overdone; it’s deep, satisfying and bright all at once. This is a bold red wine but everything about it is at the quality end of the spectrum. 94 points.
