Wilfred Shiraz 2022
$32, 14% alcohol, screwcap, McLaren Vale.

This is a sure-footed shiraz offering very good volume of flavour and a sound, satisfying finish. It ticks all the right boxes. It tastes of blackberries and plums, cloves and dark chocolate, essentially, though it also carries bitumen and mint characters as whispers. This is a dark, hearty wine, made and presented well. 92 points.
