Moppity Atrius Single Vineyard Albarino 2024

Bottle of Moppity Atrius Single Vineyard Albarino 2024.

Moppity Atrius Single Vineyard Albarino 2024
AU$45, 12.5% alcohol, screwcap, Hilltops.

This albarino is part of Moppity’s search for varieties that may prove especially well suited to the changing (climate) conditions of inland, elevated New South Wales. It’s also, though, both plainly delicious.

The flavours draw you in, the texture is terrific, and the finish itself is packed with so much interesting flavour. This wine will win people over. It tastes of grapes and honey, blackcurrant bud and citrus, pears and lemongrass, and from start to finish it engages, freshens and seduces. This wine is soft, composed and squeaky in its purity. It’s a truly lovely wine.
