Moppity Estate Cabernet Sauvignon 2021
$55, 14% alcohol, screwcap, Hilltops.

Moppity always has and likely always will grow great cabernet. This wine is yet more evidence. It’s sweet-fruited, pure, grunty, charged with tannin, soft and enlivened by herb notes – all at once. It has a jellied, minty accessibility but then it turns darker via olive, cedar and woodsmoke notes. It’s bang on for quality, once again. 94 points.
