In flavour terms this wine has firepower but its real strength is in its svelte mouthfeel, smoky highlights, overall neatness and impressive drive through the finish. In short, this wine is a class act. It tastes of passionfruit pulp and citrus rind, steel and lemongrass, and while the emphasis is on fruit this is also a wine with a genuine savoury side. 93 points.
