There’s a freshness to the fruit here that is inviting to say the least. It’s a freshness ensconced in complex secondary characters, with leaf matter, spice, lifted floral notes, undergrowth and dried stonefruit characters mingling with boysenberry, plum, malt and fully-integrated smoked cedarwood notes. This wine is delicious, delightful and highly engaging. 93 points.
