You can mark this safely as one of the buys of the year. It’s dry, juicy, gently textural and generally pitched to perfection. It tastes of lemon and grapefruit pulp, subtle sprays of herbs and slate, and from start to finish it feels 100% convincing. It’s very young, sure, but it’s very good. It will cellar handsomely but even as a young wine it will drink beautifully this coming summer.
