One thing I love about modern Lovedale Semillon is its ability to combine texture and penetrating length. It’s an arrow of a wine but it feels soft and fluid. It tastes of citrus and wax, lemonade and the barest, most careless whisper of honey, with perhaps glances of lemongrass and fennel too. It’s light, I guess, though it feels in command, and it feels right. It’s another absolute beauty.
