You get complexity in spades here. Indeed this is as much about savouriness and earthen notes as it is about fruit. Red cherries, strawberries, autumn leaves, undergrowth and mace notes run energetically throughout. Dry, savoury tannin runs through the finish – aided by blood orange acidity – though the juiciness of the fruit is maintained.
