Organic Hill Founders Release Preservative Free Shiraz 2023

Mattinson review of Organic Hills Founders Release Preservative Free Shiraz 2021.

Organic Hill Founders Release Preservative Free Shiraz 2023
AU$35, 13.8% alcohol, screwcap, McLaren Vale.

This needs a bit of air to open up and spread its wings, so a quick decant is advised. From there it puts on an attractive display of black cherry, boysenberry, milk chocolate and aromatic herb flavours, the lick of gently drying tannin on the finish giving the wine good shape. This isn’t a big wine but there’s good freshness to this wine, and mouthfeel, and flavour; indeed it’s a good wine, full stop. 90 points.
