Organic Hill Founders Release Preservative Free Shiraz 2021

Mattinson review of Organic Hills Founders Release Preservative Free Shiraz 2021.

Organic Hill Founders Release Preservative Free Shiraz 2021
AU$35, 13.8% alcohol, screwcap, McLaren Vale.

This is organically-grown, preservative free and blessed with substantial fruit flavour. It’s a satisfying wine and it’s also an interesting one, its blackberry and roasted plum flavours made more complex by whispers of charred meat, violets, peppercorns and mint. There’s a good curl of tannin and enough push (of flavour) through the finish to impress and then some. From every angle, including the contents in the glass, this is an admirable wine. 92 points.
