Oria-Riff Old Vine Grenache Dry Red 2025
$45, 13.2% alcohol, DIAM cork, McLaren Vale.

It’s a pretty wine with rose petal, general potpourri and sweet spice notes flying through bright red cherry, fresh and blueberry fruit flavours. But it’s the fine-grained spread of tannin – so firm, so fine, like a fishing line on the strain – that propels this wine to great heights. I’m scoring this wine at 94/100 but if I was going to change the score one way or the other, I’d go 95. So it’s a solid 94, with potential for more. At $45 is very good/excellent buying. 94/100.
