This is a firm, creamy, well-fruited pinot noir offering stewed red cherry flavours infused with orange rind, mint, chocolate and woodsy spice notes. It has a bit of presence and a bit of grunt, within a clear varietal context, and an assertive spread of fine-grained tannin too. It’s satisfying and more. 92 points – Campbell Mattinson.
