This wine is smarter than your average bear or, rather, better than your average graciano. There’s a lot to like about this. It presents sweet, ripe, free-flowing (red and darker berry) fruit flavours in a casing of nutty savouriness; it has depth but not at the expense of juicy momentum; and it finishes with a flash of dry, grapey grip. It’s a hit. It’s light-ish but it has enough depth to keep everyone happy. 92 points.
