Saperavi can produce such boisterous, deep-coloured red wines and while this isn’t as inky-black as some, it sure does deliver a mountain of flavour. Redcurrant, violets, kirsch, roasted nuts and potpourri characters bound through the palate in the most convincing of style. One sip and you’re on board. This gives generosity of flavour to you with both barrels. 93 points.
