This is an attractive pinot noir. It offers sweet berried fruit where it needs to; wafts of floral perfumes; spice notes; and a solid churn of stewed fruits and undergrowth. It’s complex but not in-your-face about it; it feels well powered but also just good to drink, straight up. Smoky, toasty oak notes are well integrated and lightly applied; everything here is in good order.
