$9.99, 13% alcohol, screwcap, Spain.

Love the price and Aldi usually nails the brief but this wine doesn’t really do it for me. My bottle at least felt a bit out of condition, a bit stale for want of a better word, and really did show that it’s six years old, and not in a good way. Leather, raspberry, herb and honey flavours here. It’s OK, it’s drinkable, it’s not rough, but it’s not great. 85 points.
