Marnong Estate Chardonnay 2024
$25, 12.8% alcohol, screwcap, Sunbury.

This is a frisky chardonnay, with extras. It tastes of citrus, nectarine, tinned pears and peaches, but – most appealingly – it carries a slip of almond cream-like flavour and texture, which adds both an attractive finishing touch, and a bit of class. This is well priced, well made, and well-good to drink. 90 points.
