These Vandenberg wines are good. This shiraz is alive with blueberry and plum flavour, as its base, and is then lifted further by violet and sweet-smoked spice notes. It has depth but it also has energy, and the finish is then well-framed by fine-grained tannin. It’s good. In fact it’s delicious – in a substantial way. 93 points.
