Wynns Coonawarra Estate Black Label The Original Cabernet Sauvignon 2024
AU$45, 13.4% alcohol, screwcap, Coonawarra.

It’s a hard wine to go past. It’s so beautifully balanced, so well fruited, so classic, so persistent. It’s Cabernet Sauvignon, as it should be. It tastes of redcurrants and blackcurrants, mint, green olives, bay leaves and sweet, smoked cedar, the latter tucked harmoniously into the fruit itself. Everything here feels aligned, pure, fresh and ultimately satisfying.
