Wynns Single Vineyard O’Deas Cabernet Sauvignon 2023
$80, 13.8% alcohol, screwcap, Coonawarra.

Ripe fruit flavour, impeccable balance, ultra fine tannin and satisfying length; this wine has all the components of excellence. It’s ripped with red currant, mint, tobacco and kirsch-like flavour and the web of tannin through the finish is elite. A vanillin note – modest at most – works beautifully in context. This will cellar superbly. 94+ points.
