Talk about laying down the law. Talk about showing the chardonnay world how it’s done. This chardonnay is fresh, and powerful, and intense with fruit but then it’s all mineral and candy and flint and smoke from there. It’s feels both pure and sordid; it’s a baby face on a muscular body. It’s brilliant. It puts on a show and then soars through the finish, prosecuting all of its arguments and ideas to the fullest. You won't find a better chardonnay this year. 97 points.
