De Bortoli Vinoque Pinot Meunier & Pinot Noir 2024
$28, 13.8% alcohol, screwcap, Yarra Valley.

This is an attractively perfumed red wine, light, sweet-sour, spicy, strung with sinewy tannin and – in a light context – satisfying. The grain of the tannin, the autumnal suggestions and the fresh, energetic feel of the wine’s berried fruit flavours make for a positive experience all-round. Price is right. Wine is right. This is a good buying/drinking option. 91 points.
