Henschke Johanne Ida Selma Blanc de Noir MD

Bottle of Henschke Johanne Ida Selma Blanc de Noir MD for review.

Henschke Johanne Ida Selma Blanc de Noir MD
$70, 12% alcohol, crown seal, Lenswood/Adelaide Hills.

Multi-vintage, mature disgorged. This particular release was disgorged in May 2025.

Intense flavour meets a general softness. Drinking this is a lovely experience. It tastes of grapefruit, almonds, honey and citrus, with strawberry and creamy-vanilla-marshmallow notes drifting over both the nose and the palate. Complexity; there’s plenty. Drinkability; in spades. Great that it’s sealed with a crown seal too. 93 points.
