I’ve always said that I drink sparkling wine for me, not for review. That is, I like and drink sparkling wine so much that I just want to enjoy it, sans words, sans scores. But after 25+ years of reviewing wine, and 40 years of drinking sparkling wine, I thought it might be time to let some words spill over from the sparkling wines I drink, or taste. Hence this page. It’s for the joy of it. The word celebration is the most commonly-associated word with sparkling wine. I prefer the word miracle. You drink sparkling wine, and into your life you take on a bit of miracle.
